OK just another quick post whilst we render for the night, my late business partner Ms Noon as well as hassling me in general, keeps sending me links to animations. maybe she thinks I need some inspiring??
who knows, but one thing is sure is she has a good eye for good art ( Your loss Wieden+Kennedy!!)

This Drug fuelled animation by the buck team demonstrates intelligent illustrative animation with well considered transitions, its the stuff we like her at f9 so synopsis for the makers......

The Buck team dug deep, channeling our inner gonzo, to direct and produce this homage promoting Good Books, the online bookseller that passes all its profits through to Oxfam. A big thanks to String Theory in NZ for bringing us this script, Antfood for their amazing audio stylings, to Thor for giving his voice and to all the artists who made this something we are proud of.

Things have been busy this week so a double dose of two inspiring animations ; The first is one that caught us out, with the typical render settings in 3d software and the help of old greyscale_gorilla it was easy to think that the Peuogot just add fuel advert was 3D!! No here at F9 HQ we were wrong and to justify here is the making.

Peugeot asked London designer Kyle Bean and director Joseph Mann to make this Peugeot commercial entirely from paper. That meant hundreds of detailed papercraft models and hours of intricate stop-motion filming. Now see for yourself the craft and graft that goes into the making of Just Add Fuel - 'art that moves'.

mcbess timelapse print @ The Dudes Factory, Berlin.

Whilst watching the Policeman's Ball on Channel 4 last night, it accured a
familia character for the logo was puzzling the mind.  Yes Mcbess, one of France's finest artists, mcbess who is one of the creatives at the Mill has a detailed, prescice creative flow, displaying tight forms in illustration, animation & graphicdesign.  We bumped into him at last years Pictoplasma festival where he was just putting the finishing touches to the massive print we took above.

mcbess is not to be missed, if you do not know his work then visit >>
